A practise passed down through generations. Pointe shoe decorating is the process of decorating a Ballet pointe shoe to the theme of a story or character. Children will be given the pointe shoe all the art materials as well as a template to follow however they are allowed to design their own shoe based on their imagination or a story they love. The day will be broken up with movement games, and a shared morning tea.

Please bring water, and lunch for your child.

Your child is allowed to bring their own dance shoes and or a sneaker (white preferable) to decorate if they prefer. If your child has a design in mind already and has craft materials to support this design then please those items bring them along.

Children will be introduced to sequences, movement safety, and anatomical break downs as well as be encouraged to bring their own input into the class, creating a collaborative and supportive environment.

Morning Tea provided, please bring lunch, plenty of water and make sure your child is dressed comfortably with clothing that is easy to move in.
